Straight Edge Non Alcoholic Beer is punk inspired product providing sober alternative . Straight edge is a subculture and movement that originated in the hardcore punk rock scene during the early 1980s. It advocates for a lifestyle free from alcohol, tobacco, and recreational drugs, emphasizing clarity of mind and body. So therefore I wanted use the aesthetics of punk rock within my designs, which led me to my choice of a rugged typeface that can be seen on many gig fliers. As well as the color palette of black and red which can be found on a majority of punk rock merchandise. Lastly for the logo I took the main symbol from the straight edge movement which is an X marked on one’s hand to identify one as straight edge.
