Crustacean Station is a train themed seafood restaurant with the focus on being family friendly. The project came from the common theme of steam in both cooking crustacean and operating trains, creating our slogan “Full Steam Ahead”. In order to achieve this, I made a very fun color palette of orange from the shell of crustaceans such as crabs and lobsters, and blue from the hickory strip uniform of train conductors. In addition to this color palette, I drew a fun cartoon like hybrid of a crab and train for the logo. For the menu I wanted to continue the fun train themed motifs, so I included train illustrations and train tracks throughout the menu. Dividing each section with a subheading in the shape of signs in classic train stops.
